# Expert Advice:

01 -
  • Everything comes together in under half an hour, so you can go from hungry to happy without much fuss.
  • You can pile on whatever you have around, making it as simple or as loaded as you like.
  • The combination of melted cheese, crispy chips, and fresh toppings hits every texture and flavor you crave.
  • It works just as well for a solo snack as it does for a crowd gathered around the table.
02 -
  • Dont pile the chips too thick or the ones on the bottom will stay cold and bare, spread them wide for even coverage.
  • Rinse the black beans well or theyll carry a metallic taste that throws off the whole dish.
  • Pull the nachos out of the oven the moment the cheese melts, overcooking dries everything out and makes the chips tough.
  • Add the fresh toppings only after baking so they stay crisp and bright instead of wilted and sad.
03 -
  • Use a mix of cheeses for better melt and flavor, one sharp and one creamy works wonders.
  • Layer the cheese in two stages, half under the toppings and half on top, so every chip gets some coverage.
  • Warm your beans slightly before adding them so they dont cool down the cheese while it melts.
  • Taste your jalapeños first, some are mild and others will blow your head off.
