# What You'll Need:
→ Donuts
01 - 36 mini glazed donuts (store-bought or freshly made)
→ Icing
02 - 2 cups confectioners' sugar (powdered sugar)
03 - 3 to 4 tablespoons whole milk, adjust for consistency
04 - 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
→ Decorations
05 - 1/2 cup assorted colorful sprinkles
06 - Edible gold stars (optional)
07 - Graduation-themed toothpick toppers (optional)
# How To Make:
01 - If donuts are homemade, cool completely on a wire rack; if using store-bought, select fresh donuts and bring them to room temperature for best adhesion.
02 - In a mixing bowl, whisk confectioners' sugar with 3 tablespoons milk and vanilla until smooth and thick but still pourable; add the remaining tablespoon of milk only if needed to reach desired consistency.
03 - Dip the top of each mini donut into the icing, allow excess to drip back into the bowl, then immediately press into sprinkles; transfer to a rack and let icing set for about 15 minutes.
04 - Position the styrofoam cone on a serving platter or cake stand and stabilize it to prevent shifting during assembly.
05 - Starting at the widest part of the cone, impale each donut about halfway onto a wooden skewer or toothpick and press into the cone so the donut sits flush and level.
06 - Continue arranging donuts in slightly overlapping rows, working upward and trimming or shortening skewers as needed to maintain a stable, conical profile.
07 - Fill any visible gaps with additional donuts or decorative elements, scatter extra sprinkles and edible stars for sparkle, and place a graduation topper at the peak for a polished presentation.
08 - Display immediately for service or cover loosely and keep at room temperature for up to 2 hours; avoid refrigeration to preserve glaze texture and appearance.
